A partridge in a pear tree

It's December 1st and I feel like I can officially appreciate the season again! Taking a trip to Leavenworth this weekend to start off Christmas time season. I hope it snows! On Friday there's a caroling competition called the Great Figgy Pudding Competition at 6. Ice skating...I loved being in Hawaii last year but I'm glad to be in Seattle.

Lately I've been feeling busy busy busy. Thanksgiving was great! I gotta say I was a little sad that Allie and I came home to an empty house. I watched part of the Macy's parade alone. First Thanksgiving without mom's Thanksgiving but also first Thanksgiving with a significant other's fam. I feel so welcome :) I wish my parents were as obliging. Not that they are mean or anything. I guess its what comes with strict upbringing plus being the baby girl. Sigh. (Don't worry, Marc, my parents like you). This is also the first Thanksgiving since the 8th grade that I didn't go to Turkey Bowl! I made up for it by hanging out with the ones I love and eating ALOT.

What else...My parents landed safely in the PI. 2 more weeks til the end of the quarter. New snowboarding pants, but haven't been on the mountain. I need to Christmas shop!

Fantasy Football is for lovers.

I love this season because of the leaves. Although I don't like the leaves pooping all over my car. My fantasy team is doing well. GO Ronnie Brown :)I'm doing that thing where I anticipate the end of it already. What am I to do when I have no players/teams to read up on? I guess there is always Facebook. Bleh.

Marc got me tickets to Mae for my birthday. They were great as always. Played Summertime, not Tisbury Lane. I want to be a band someday. We went to Jay-Z the day before with Just and Gemma. A typical music filled weekend ;)

September already? I've barely have birthday plans but I'm sure I'll figure it out in the next week.

I've been in the Dale for 2 days to "rest" after having my wisdom teeth taken out. I think I might go crazy. I haven't left the house once! Further evidence that moving back home is NOT an option. Sorry Al! (I need to brush her teeth. Her breath is stanky.) Thank cod Missy is taking me to lunch tomorrow :) mmmm Chung's!

Sooo Hawaii was awesome! I just hope it was a good first trip for Marc. I'm thankful we had a free place to crash for 10 days. Thanks Ann! More pictures to come!

Soon as my cheeks go down to normal, I'm going to start training for the Seattle 1/2! Excited for something to look forward to again. Speaking of things to look forward to...
